About

Lambda Curry is a software studio for teams that want real partnership, not handoffs.

We work at the intersection of product strategy, design, engineering, and support. Our sweet spot is modern web products, Medusa-powered commerce, and AI-forward systems that need both speed and judgment.

What that means in practice

Small team, senior leverage

Lambda Curry stays deliberately focused so each engagement gets direct attention and clear thinking.

Commerce and AI are recurring themes

A lot of our work sits in the overlap between operational software, ecommerce infrastructure, and practical AI systems.

Why the name?

Lambda Curry merges the concept of lambda functions — anonymous, powerful expressions in programming — with currying, a technique for more flexible coding, in a clever pun conceived by Derek, our co-founder and resident pun aficionado.

The name fits the way we like to work: technically sharp, practical, a little playful, and built around making complex systems feel more approachable.

We are a team of problem solvers, architects, pun enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs. The people doing the work matter, so we want clients to know exactly who they are building with.

O U R   V A L U E S

These principles shape how we work together, make decisions, and show up for clients and each other.

01

Doing Good

We want our work to be useful, honest, and beneficial to the people we serve.

Galatians 6:8–10 — As we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

02

People First

Our goals are people first, our work is to help others, and our profits are provisioned for growth and philanthropy.

We try to hold fast to a few principles that keep relationships, trust, and long-term care ahead of short-term wins.

03

Encouragement

Encouragers are practical, risk-taking, committed, others-centered, available, and patient.

That posture shapes how we work with clients and how we show up for each other as a team.

1

Start with context

We look at the product, the team, the constraints, and the real goals before proposing a delivery plan.

2

Shape the work together

We define scope in a way that designers, engineers, and stakeholders can all use to move with confidence.

3

Ship and support

We stay close through implementation, iteration, and the follow-through that turns a launch into a stable product.

Lambda Curry is a fit when you want product taste, strong implementation, and a partner who can handle ambiguity without turning it into chaos.

Senior collaboration

You work with people who can shape requirements, challenge weak assumptions, and ship the work.

Design and engineering together

Product thinking, interface design, and implementation stay connected instead of getting handed off in pieces.

AI with judgment

We use AI to accelerate research, prototyping, and delivery, but only with strong review loops and practical guardrails.

Built for the long haul

We care about maintainability, team clarity, and support after launch, not just shipping a flashy first pass.

Next step

Need a studio that can think and build with you?

If you need product direction, design, engineering, or long-term support, Lambda Curry can step in where the work actually needs help.
